How Did I Get Dressed Before I Owned a Chambray Shirt?!

I mean seriously?! I LOVE my 3, count them THREE chambray shirts and never really knew how versatile they were! I still want to add one more in a lighter color denim. They can be worn with many bottoms, as a layering piece, in warm weather, cool weather...etc. I plan to scan some of my favorite fashion bloggers to see how they are wearing them. I had to look back to see when I last wore one- it was about 3 weeks ago so I'm OK. I don't want to wear it out! :-) Happy hump day all!!

Fitting in Exercise at Work!

I was doing a fitness demo at work today for folks to fit in exercise while they work. So, I had to be biz casual but with movement potential. We told our participants that they could come in work attire, so I couldn't very well show up in workout clothes! What's a fashionista to do?! These comfy skinnies and top I can move in did the trick! I kicked off my wedges and we were on to chair squats, lunges, wall push ups and desk tricep dips. It was a good ol' time!
The rundown...
Pin ItSkinnies: Worn Jeans from Nordstrom
Tank: Old Navy
Top: Rubbish from Nordstrom
Shoes: Gossip on 23rd
Necklace and earrings: Calamarie Isn't it GORG!??!!! It's made of orange peels and some kind of nut. All the jewelry sold by Calamarie is eco-friendly and supports women artisans from Columbia! What an amazing company!! Please check them out for all of their gorgeous wares. Love their jewels and their owner, Catalina! XO Here's a closer look...Don't you want one?!?! I want them ALL! :-)

Had a FAB and fast weekend in the big apple! A old friend and I had a quick Fri Pm - Sun AM girls jaunt to this magical city. I just love it there. I still think/fantasize that we should live there for just a year to experience the culture, energy, and excitement! We'll see. For now, I'll enjoy my brief visits as much as I can. I only captured one outfit the whole time though I plan to throw the Friday and Sunday travel outfits on again and have the hubs take some photos. I will do this soon- possibly tonight. For now, I'll share my Saturday daytime outfit. I knew we were going to do a lot of walking (shopping and exploring Central Park were our main activities) I felt comfy but not touristy, which to me is the perfect fashion combo when visiting ANY city. You want to fit in, but dress smart. It's not quite possible to dress as chic as natives since we're doing the "walk a ton" tourist thing, but I still can find something to rock that doesn't involve a fanny pack and white sneakers! HA! Neither of which I own, btw... ;-)

I've included my Sat outfit as well as my work outfit today. Happy Monday all!
I didn't crop it as I love the background of central park. Not only the beautiful greenery and  huge rock, but also the man playing the violin in the background! I LOVE Central Park and all of its energy!
